On loan to SIIT (Saskatchewan Indian Institute Technology)
This aircraft served as a “Bird Dog” with Saskatchewan Forest Fire Management until it was retired.
This aircraft is on loan to the Saskatchewan Indian Institute Technology (SIIT’s) “Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Program” (AME) in Saskatoon. It is used as a teaching aid to assist the instructors in teaching the art of airframe repair and maintenance techniques.
This SIIT two-year diploma program is delivered at the Saskatoon Aviation Learning Centre. Students develop the knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft in accordance with Transport Canada’s standards of safety and performance. SIIT is the only institution in Saskatchewan that offers this program.
