Theory of Flight
The Theory of Flight Program gives students the opportunity to see a wide variety of aircraft while learning about aerodynamics from experienced instructors. Together with demonstrations, interactive exercises, guided museum tours and flight simulators, the museum programs are designed to engage and inspire students of all ages.
The science and characteristics of objects and materials are demonstrated in a fun and interactive experience. Students learn to identify the materials and components that make up an aircraft, tour the historical hangar, and discover the practical application of math and science concepts. Students experience aircraft flight simulators, which gives them a true hands-on experience of flight controls.
